As I sleep, my mind will erase everything I did today. I will wake up tomorrow as I did this morning. Thinking I’m still a child. Thinking I have a whole lifetime of choice ahead of me …’ Memories define us. So what if you lost yours every time you went to sleep? Your name, your identity, your past, even the people you love—all forgotten overnight. And the one person you trust may only be telling you half the story. Welcome to Christine’s life.
I was completely blown away with this novel, one of the best I read lately, I will be remembering this one for quite some time.
The book has won various prizes and there is some hype about it so I am a little wary but in this case they are all correct, this is a freeky book, memory is such a delicate thing and how much we rely on it.
I read this quickly, this is one I didn´t want to put down, it is thrilling with some twists and turns that I didn´t see coming, which I am glad about, some mystery as Christine tries to put together her life.
The ending could have been better, it is the only part I could fault but oh well, lets see what happens in the movie.
This is the authors debut novel and it is a great one, I wonder when there will be more from the author.
