Reputation is everything.
When a packed commuter train runs over a body on a stretch of track known to locals as “Suicide Mile”, it soon transpires that the man was a victim of a calculated murder.
As the investigation evolves and a pattern of murders is uncovered, Detective Sergeant Kay Hunter realises the railway’s recent reputation may be the work of a brutal serial killer.
With a backlog of cold cases to investigate and attempting to uncover who is behind a professional vendetta against her, Kay must keep one step ahead of both the killer and her own adversaries.
When a second murder takes place within a week of the first, she realises the killer’s timetable has changed, and she’s running out of time to stop him…
Superb second book in the series of DI Kay Hunter, this time, another fantastic start and a fast paced novel through out, here we learn more about DI Kay Hunter and her past and family, you begin to understand some of the things from the first book in the series, Scared to Death, which was also brilliant, this is one of those books that you can pick up and get into straight away, but you do need to read them in order to understand fully the characters, the chapters are short and fast but you won’t want to put it down at all. It certainly kept me guessing over and over. Can Kay and her team catch the person behind all of this before any more people die????? Get reading and you will find out.
